"I want a man to rock me like my backbone was his own; Darlin', I know you can..." --Bonnie Raitt

I'm convinced that Bonnie wrote this song with a good ole boy in mind. (Notice she says Darlin'-- not darling.) Southern ladies and gentlemen are famous for their magnetism. From Scarlett to Elvis, legends have been born. It may all start with an accent like the undulations of satin sheets, but I guarantee that the memorability has something more like meat and potatoes to it. Give it up for the homeboys and girls...they know how to dish it out.

Don't tell me you haven't wanted a taste. Unless you've got a hitch in your gitalong, we know you want (or got) a shot at sampling the finger lickin' goods unavailable at the Colonel's. No?? Tsk--tsk. Then it's time for an emergency swig of Erotikava and a dab of pheromone infused oil. Okay, perhaps a pheromone oil bath would be the ticket for this dire circumstance. If you're new to the South and feeling left out, these two secrets will get you in the swing of things.

Erotikava is an award-winning, doctor-approved aphrodisiac syrup with Southern origins. This potion tastes like holiday spice tea, and is delicious as a dessert topping. Eating food will not diminish favorable effects. Users have noted immediate and residual support for sexual appetites. Erotikava won the "Best New Natural Product Award" at the 1996 West Coast Conference. That should tell you something.

Two main ingredients give this syrup pizzazz. Premium Vanuatu Kava is native to the South Pacific. In addition to laid back comfort, this herb provides a warm confidence indigenous to Southern charm. Kava from Vanuatu is the king of antianxiety/antistress substances with nonaddictive enhancement of vision, hearing, and verbal skills.

"Let's give 'em somthin' to talk about..." --Bonnie Raitt

The erotic part of erotikava comes from an herb named epimedium. (It should be called epimaximum.) Epimedium first entered the old European herbal journals as "horny goat weed." Goat herders noticed that whenever their goats grazed upon fields of this herb, they would go into rut--regardless of the "season."

Epimedium is also the desirable ingredient in Honeymoon Honey, a spreadable delicacy suitable for breakfast breads or breakfast in bed. In addition this herb turns up in Champion Majiajun Formul za, which is the red Korean ginseng formula used by the world champion 1994 Chinese Women's Long Distance Track Team. Imagine what it can do for your endurance in domestic sports.

Ling Chih and Deer Antler are two other ginseng formulas popular with couples inspired to reach new heights of romantic bliss. Ling Chih contains epimedium. Deer Antler contains, you guessed it, deer antler.

Pacific Sensual's pheromone infused candles and Allure oil are great fun. Take heed, all you locals who complain that there's no one your age to date. Wearing Allure, this writer (now 40ish) attended a party thick with collegiate youth, and found herself trailed by an entourage of buff bubbas of all ages. Whee! The tables can turn.

Never underestimate the power of pheromones. Research has disclosed some intriguing possibilities. According to Nature's Aphrodisiacs, by N. L. Nickel nl, "In one double-blind study, young women were exposed either to female hormones or to a placebo.

After fourteen weeks, the percentage of women having sex on a weekly basis increased from 11 percent to 73 percent for women receiving the pheromones. It remained the same for those who received the placebo."

Aromatherapy offers some other options. Jasmine, ylang ylang, sandalwood, and patchouli are just a few essential oils with a long colorful history of usage around the world. From ancient Tantric ceremonies to Cleopatra's endeavors, the sense of smell has played a pivotal role.

A couple supplements also worth mentioning are Phosphatidylcholine and Damiana. Choline is necessary for the transmission of chemical messages between the brain and nerves. It "is essential for sexual arousal and may also boost sexual performance... Choline is the main component æ of lecithin. Semen contains large amounts of lecithin, which must be replaced after ejaculation." So you may supplement lecithin rather than choline. Food sources include: egg yolks, liver, soybeans, peanuts, and green vegetables.

Damiana (Turnera aphrodisiaca) is native to the Southwest United States. It is an aphrodisiac used by both sexes. Damiana stimulates the sense of touch, regulates hormones, and soothes the nerves. Damiana also reportedly relieves depression, anxiety, and exhaustion.

So don't despair if you are from the Northern Latitudes, and your Southern fried fantasies are all in your head. Bless your heart and other parts, while we thank our lucky stars. We know the South will rise again.
