ORIGINS

La Boheme Herbal Body Shop was founded in 1987 by Gail Doorenbos. In 1994, she built the shop at its present location.  Her parents' professions in Pharmacy and Pharmacognosy influenced her profoundly.  In addition, Gail derived the logo for La Boheme from her mother's Japanese family crest. Gail brings experience in health care and aesthetics together with a passionate interest in the beneficial use of plants. Now situated in a peaceful setting, surrounded by gardens, La Boheme has matured into a full-stocked herbal shop. You can rely on an extensive selection of quality Ayurvedic, Chinese and Western herbs, vitamins, supplements, teas, Bach flower remedies, homeopathy, aromatherapy, bath and body care, and unique gifts. Award-winning specialty items in all of these categories represent many cultures. Sensibly, self-indulgent services are also offered, including natural hair care and massage therapy.
